Species @ Risk in ManitobaIn 2009, 28 Manitoba amphibian, bird, insect, mammal, plant, and reptile species had been designated as species-at-risk. The federal and provincial governments, in conjunction with non-profits and local conservation organizations, are working cooperatively to recover these at-risk species before their time runs out.This website was designed to act as a hub for information on Manitoba species-at-risk and their recovery efforts. This network is in its infancy and we will be expanding and updating our information and services as time goes by. If you have any suggestions, please contact us.
