About

The Peregrine Chick is the online alter-ego for the Project Coordinator of Manitoba’s Peregrine Falcon Recovery Project and this blog are her adventures with Manitoba’s peregrine falcons.

The Peregrine Falcon Recovery Project (Manitoba) has been working to re-establish a self-sustaining wild peregrine falcon population in the province since 1981. To-date over 200 peregrine falcons chicks have been released through the Project’s efforts and many of them have gone on to raise young of their own across the Canadian Prairies and the US Midwest. The Project is a not-for-profit conservation organization with charitable status.

If you would like more information about the Project or are interested in making a donation, please visit the Project’s website at: www.species-at-risk.mb.ca/peregrines . If you have questions about the peregrines or the Project, please visit the Project’s Manitoba Falcon Cam Forum or fill out the form below.

We hope you enjoy sharing out adventures.
