I am sorry I have not kept uup  it has been a busy year at all nests

When Dr court banded, we had one sick chick with Frounce and Dr. court treated with  a pill. He was to leave 2 males here, as this i s a bad site for the chicks to fledge from.

so he left us with  a male and a small female. the other 2 would go to the hack site

coming to band

and I knew I would have to watch carefully now, as they were flapping ans getting ready.  our cam was not great this year. without insert to monitor end they usually go off and no sound , we would have to be vigilant.

if they go off prematurely, they have to be found within hours. As I said this site is brutal and almost impossible to monitor for ground.

our young male left earlier than he should have.July 1 early morning.
with no insert, I can assume he was flapped off by sister.  I kept my recorder on 24 hours so I could pinpoint time and let  Dr. court know.   I was able to get it within about 5 hours. He could not find him and we went down a few days later and we could not either. but Dr. court said he could make it to a certain roof and be fed by adults.
but the  good thing was  the adult female  was missing a lot.  no news is  good news
so now we have our female and   we pray stays long enough that she will not be hurt if  grounded
first night she was alone
