McKenzie Seeds - 2011 / April
In the past couple of days I have seen a bald eagle, two northern harriers, geese, a merlin, a great horned owl, a porcupine and one gopher.  Not one peregrine, just pigeons on the McKenzie roof.  :(

Going to have one heck of a time getting that porcupine out of that nest box.  Hope it isn't sitting on eggs.......

... as Seagull Commander and Chief, you could take charge of the pigeon line of defence whereby you would direct the troops, the pigeon poop squad, if you will, to target the gun guy, giving him everything you have.

Good one, Elaine! LOL!!! ;D And of course, if anyone by the name of Eye-spy happened to be passing by, down below...  ;) :-*

As of 5pm today, I have only seen pigeons on the McKenzie building, not one peregrine.........not even in their hiding spots (Scotia bldg, window sills or on the mts tower)  :(  Hopefully they will show up soon.  :)

If I was a smart Peregrine (and aren't they all smart?!?), I'd be staying away from places where shooters are present!  Is it possible that anybirdy checking out the McKenzie Seeds site would make a quick exit given the sound of gunshots?!? :P

Careful Eye Spy Peregrines eat sea gulls too. We don't want anybody to eat Kinderchick ;D As of noon today no sighting of Peregrines or shooter ;D

A seagull costume would make you a bigger target, Kinderchick.  Nevertheless, as Seagull Commander and Chief, you could take charge of the pigeon line of defence whereby you would direct the troops, the pigeon poop squad, if you will, to target the gun guy, giving him everything you have.

Hey, Phanatics and Fledgewatchers are not to be used as targets!  (or at least not until later in the season)

No more sightings that I have heard about at least.  My birder friend goes by twice a day and hasn't seen anything since that one morning, so probably just a bird passing though and made a pit-stop on McKenzie Seeds.
