You should have a program called Windows Movie Maker where you can edit digital media. You have to click your Start button to get to All Programs to find it.

Hmmm, I'm thinking that I recall kittenface also shooting video, Liz, but I could be wrong. Not absolutely sure. :-\

I'm not an expert, by any means, Liz, but I'm pretty sure they do. I'm only familiar with photobucket and am still a novice, at that. rcf or eagle might be better able to assist you. :)

Thanks rcf and KC.  Before I try them, do those sites allow me to edit before I post?  I lost the kids lots of times and some shots are so far away, it would be better if I can shorten it to something worthwhile (if there is anything).

I took video of the boys playing in the wind on Thursday night.  Is there a way to upload some of that?
Liz, if you don't yet have a photobucket account, like has been suggested by rcf, then go to the following link and you will find several tutorial sessions that TPC did with us sometime this past Spring... http://www.species-at-risk.mb.ca/projects/pfrp/forum/programs/index.php/board,239.0.html (I hope this link works.)

Yup, just tried the link and it works. :)

You could upload it to photobucket and then provide a link for the forum.  You would have to have a photobucket account to do that though, it is a free photo and video sharing site. :)

Thanks TPC and RCF, I'm going to check out the website now.

RCF, which program do you use to capture video?

BCAW is short for Bird Cams Around The World and is a forum like ours, but quite extensive. Lots of Cams on mostly raptors, but also other birds and animals, you will like it.   Here is a link

Well, DUH !  I know You, and I can.  But I thought she ment someone was capturing from CBC.

And you are right Eye-Spy, I didn't use enough words in my answer  ::).  I don't capture video from the CBC site, so I'm afraid I don't know what the best way to do it.  RCF does and has managed to get some great video clips of the Brandon chicks, if you haven't seen any, you should, they are great!  The folks on BCAW would probably be my next best choice for advice.

I am :)

But can't help you out Dupre, the video clips I capture are through the software we use to monitor all the webcams, so not the software you need I'm afraid.

You might want to check with the folks on the Bird Cams Around the World forum as I think some of them do alot of video captures .. they would know better what software to use.
