Yeah, I really miss going downtown and hanging around on the parkade....  ;)

No, really, I sure do feel let down when I go there and see nothing but hundreds of winged Kraft Dinner!

Haven't seen a falcon since October 4th, the weather has not been condusive to even go out to look, sometimes you couldn't see the top of  Mckenzies. I guess they have all have gone south. Looked today and not a sign of any one. :'(

Probably like most other places, it is your adult female that is there.  It seems to me when peregrines migrate the female stays around and migrates about a week or two after the male. At least that is what happens in Edmonton.

drove down Pacific Avenue about 10:00am and saw one lonely falcon sitting on the east tower light enjoying the drizzle or not  ::) Didn't see any others.

OOPS!  Forgot to post yesterday.

Saw one of ours on the north light of the tower yesterday.  Wasn't there long though as it was REALLY windy here.  And, of course, I didn't see it take off as I was looking around for others.  Sheesh, even when it's not silly season, I miss all the good stuff.

Have a great weekend everyone!

After work today , I was driving over the 8th street bridge and I saw a falcon fly around the McKenzie building and over and around the Scotia Bank building and then I lost sight of it.  I drove in front of the McK building and saw the falcon ( not sure who it was) perched where Zeus hides his stash, under the black/green ledge on the southeast corner and was having their dinner.   :)  Must of been chasing pigeons when I saw it.  ;D  Its a good place to keep dry and eat since it's been raining all day. ::)

I drove passed there yesterday and thought that I saw one right on the peak of the tower but you know what it's like when you are in traffic.  The vehicles behind you are not interested in what you are looking at, they are only interested in the fact that you aren't moving fast enough for them!

Oh, It's October 1st.  Should this be a new thread?   ???

Was down town this am about 9:30 and stopped at a red light where I could see the Mckenzie tower. There was a falcon on the west tower light. I couldn't tell which one,so I guess at least one is still here in spite of the weather today which has been really windy!!

And now my day is complete!  Saw one of our family hanging out on the South side of the tower on the top light.  Again, it's one of those days when you can't see definition, but I would say it was an adult.

Might be the last time I see one this fall.   :'(  But, am soooo happy that I got to experience it one more time.  And, I was with a new friend that appreciates them as much as I do.  Will have to send this link as see if we can sign up another phanatic!
