Just in case anyone is interested, both Hunter and Sol are still here as of 6:40am. I saw three falcons and two of them were playing talon tag or getting a lesson.  :-\  After that they all went and perched at different spots. One went to the Scotia sign, one perched on the top of the McKenzie roof and one on the north light........think it was a parent on the light.  I could hear the two boys yelling before I left for work. There were no birdies to be seen after 4pm today.  :)

We saw the two boys today and they were both chasing pigeons. They never caught anything but the pigeons were in panic mode for a while. ;D  Before we left everyone was perched on either the Scotia and McKenzie buildings. We were glad to see all four falcons because I am sure in another couple of weeks the two kids will be headed south.

I saw one of the boys this morning and he was yelling at Hurricane on the Scotia sign, I think he was looking for a handout.  ::)   After work I only saw Brooklyn and Hurricane perched on the east side of the Scotia building.

I am sorry about Maya, but feel bad for Rose and RCF and others that got to see her since birth to fledging.
These little birds wiggle out of the shell and into all of our hearts in such a short period of time, but mother nature still rules over them. I will miss that young lady..

I am very sorry to hear about Maya.  She certainly was a beautiful falcon.
All we can do is hope for the best for her brothers!

I saw Hunter chasing pigeons this morning and he turned up on the Scotia sign with one that he caught.  :)  I also saw Sol later napping on a window sill between the two McKenzie buildings out of the wind. Brooklyn and Hurricane were staying out of the wind also on the Scotia sign.

3:45pm

Hunter and Sol are still around.  :)  They were perched side by side on the louvered ledge on the north side the Scotia Bank building trying to stay cool.  Didn't see Brooklyn or Hurricane today but I saw both of them yesterday.

I heard about this news last night  our fundraiser.
I am so sorry. I feel your pain.  I knwo what it feels like.
Please rejoice int he 2 you still have.

To Rose and RCf, when you follow them so closely it is like loosing your left arm.  But to know that she was found and they tried , is just such a step in right direction. The more we get word out there the more people are aware

I am so sorry to read of Maya's death.  So many falcon chicks die in the first year of their lives, and it is so hard to take.  There are so many obstacles to living, and as Tracy mentioned, this is before they even migrate.
