I stood at the base of the Radisson this morning and looked straight up. I could hardly see where they would be if they were there..so much blowing snow. I hope they are sticking to warmer climes until say..next weekend when it gets warm!

Maybe they took one look at the never-ending snow and turned around to go back south...

Don't blame them one bit..I am ready to join them.

And I'm on your tail. An hour and a half to shovel my driveway this morning. Paused a few times to peer into the sky looking for birds over the river (and also to avoid having heart attack). All I saw were a few crows, swooping and cavorting like they were enjoying it! Idjits.

Any more visitors in the area, Pam? I guess you're going everywhere with binoculars now!

Just buzzed around the west side with the skycam and no sign of anyone.  Also checked the recorder and no one has stopped in/at the box or flown by the box so still no joy at the Radisson so far.

Eye-Spy is hoping to get to the Radisson spycam (on the east side) in the next few days and that will double our viewing potential ....

Not in the downtown any more, Kinderchick!  And experts are telling me what I saw was a Merlin, hope to get a better look if he/she returns!

Usually yes, but it's stayed cold so maybe instinct is keeping them away?  Someone will show up soon  :)

Woot! Somebirdie is home downtown. Just saw someone on the perch on the Kensington Building at about 3:30 p.m. I'd guess Ivy...looking svelt.   8)

I actually thought I saw a bird there earlier in the afternoon, but couldn't say for sure given the angle I was looking.

But for sure at 3:30!

Cooper is quite right, first bird came in at about 12noon and had a quick look around and then later in the afternoon there were two birds - looked like one female and one male.

Male does look like Ivy but he wasn't staying still long enough for me to get a look at his legband.  The coloured band is on his right leg which is the "right" leg for Ivy, but also for Beau for that matter.

As for the other bird, looked larger and was very leery of the outside-box cam which is something Princess is not.  Also the bird's breast is white, not like Princess at all.  Couldn't get any kind of look at that bird's legbands.  Could be Sandy, could be Jules ...

Going to post some video on the Project's YouTube Gallery and you can look for yourselves.
