Not in the downtown any more, Kinderchick!  And experts are telling me what I saw was a Merlin, hope to get a better look if he/she returns!

Just buzzed around the west side with the skycam and no sign of anyone.  Also checked the recorder and no one has stopped in/at the box or flown by the box so still no joy at the Radisson so far.

Eye-Spy is hoping to get to the Radisson spycam (on the east side) in the next few days and that will double our viewing potential ....

Just saw what sure looked like a peregrine perched on top of one of the apartment buildings in Osborne Village.......

Any more visitors in the area, Pam? I guess you're going everywhere with binoculars now!

Maybe they took one look at the never-ending snow and turned around to go back south...

Don't blame them one bit..I am ready to join them.

And I'm on your tail. An hour and a half to shovel my driveway this morning. Paused a few times to peer into the sky looking for birds over the river (and also to avoid having heart attack). All I saw were a few crows, swooping and cavorting like they were enjoying it! Idjits.

I stood at the base of the Radisson this morning and looked straight up. I could hardly see where they would be if they were there..so much blowing snow. I hope they are sticking to warmer climes until say..next weekend when it gets warm!

Where, oh where can our birdies be? I keep checking the forum for sightings but......  I guess they are waiting for warmer temps and some snow to go. I don't blame them as I am doing the same thing!  :)

Was downtown last night between 5 and 6:15 - no peregrines spotted.

Just as we were leaving, a pair of bald eagles came from the HSC area and circled high overhead.  Watched them for about 5 minutes until they disappeared behind buildings over towards Broadway.

Overall yesterday was a good birdie day....one peregrine in the afternoon...two bald eagles at night.  I love spring!!

Had a little spin around with the skycam and nothing sitting in the sun on the Manitoba Hydro sign or on the east or north Rogers sign, or the west-side Radisson sign and no sign in the nestbox of any visitations, peregrines or otherwise ....
