I was watching "little brother" on the balcony cam earlier today and noticed he appears to be spending a lot of time on the ledge.

Just thinking about the "ledgecam" again ... the cam we enjoyed in 2012 when McDermot would frequent the ledge and sometimes appear right in front of the cam for hours.

Is there still hope for that cam? What is the latest?  TPC ???

but then she flew away and he started flapping and running along the box edge and then he hopped down on the nestledge.

As of 1312h CDT he's still on the ledge about 1/4 of the way to the end in the shade just hanging out ...

when he was right up to the camera he looked sad, maybe missing his sisters

Or happy not to have to share his little bit of shade with his two larger sisters  ;D

TPC, did Little Brother leave the nest yesterday and make his way back? - Or did he never leave? -  ??? ;D

We aren't sure - the angle of his take off from the nestbox could have been either, but he was back on the ledge very quickly - which could mean he took an abrupt turn back or he flew to the ledge right off the bat.  I'm trying to put together the different camera angles to answer that question though ....

great to see the nest chicks are eating, I hope Lost is eating as well

No news is good news when it comes to peregrines.
The parents will feed the chicks wherever they are - an the female who accidentally fledged was being well fed by the adults when I last saw her ...

Just came on 5 minutes ago and suddenly Pip shows up with the "full meal" deal for a waiting chick. Hungry little??? kid. Because I would prefer not to watch him/her tear the meal, I am posting what I observed.   :P

What a lot of flapping!  Thanks for that great video, RCF.
Looks like Princess got an earful when the one without dinner told her to get another for them.

Oh wow FABULOUS video RCF!!  ;D - Little stinker took the whole thing for him/herself!

I swear I saw a chick on the ledge beside the nest tonight - just after 7pm. So either somebirdie fledged and came back, or didn't fledge at all.  ???
