Yesterday, while watching Porter (our visitor) pick at the old food remains, I hoped he was simply playing and not that hungry!

Your visitor Alison & Burdi I was able to confirm was little brother Porter  :)

Aww - really nice to know that was Porter at the nestbox.  :)

I see he's continuing to get around very well now, so his flying ability must have improved greatly.

By the way, I don't know if anybirdie was there earlier today. (I just happened to click on the cam at the right time.) All is quiet again ... wonder if our visitor flew off?

Nice to know that you also spotted our visitor, Alison!  :D

Well how about that? Somebirdie is visiting us!  :D

Yes, they are! I was doing a cursory check of the nest, where no-one ever seems to visit, when I saw a beak peeking  out from below the overhang. The beak disappeared immediately, but then the juvie did make a short appearance.

I'm not sure where our visitor has gone, but initially I spotted him (or her) peeking out from inside the nest. Perhaps it was time for another nap ... or maybe the visit is over.  ???

I keep hoping to see one but haven't.  I thought I saw them flying around Disraeli bridge but my eyes aren't that great so maybe not.

Love the pics you posted, TPC! Very handsome fledglings!

It's good that they have names now. Thank you for all the thought, research, time and effort you put into coming up with a selection of names, and the background behind each.

Have not seen anyone at the nest, except for a couple of partial views of a juvie a couple of days ago.

A couple days ago my sister was waiting for a bus on Portage across from the Radisson.

She saw 1 of the kids soaring around, then it landed on a window ledge at the Radisson. Then another kid came and landed on another ledge.

Then 2 more birds came - not sure if it was it was Princess and Pip, or the other sibling and 1 parent - but there ensued a lot of screeching and yelling for a minute..... Then the 2 kids flew off the ledges and went with the other 2.

I'm guessing they were in the middle of a training exercise and the kids were goofing off so got an earful.  ??? :P ;D

TPC have you seen all 3 of the chicks? - Do we know they're all ok?  :)

Thank you for the update, are the parents still bringing food to the chicks or are they hunting by themselves now?

Oh no, they aren't ready to support themselves yet.  They may just be starting to catch things on their own, but not enough or well enough to support themselves - they are still growing babies still - they are only 57, 56 and 53 days old as of today.  They will need another few weeks before they are fully self-sufficient.
