Wow! Alley has laid a third egg!

Dad with the eggs, looking very proud:

Both at the nest; the eggs are now being incubated.

Alley and 19/K have both been incubating faithfully. Unfortunately, one of the eggs has now disappeared. I hope the other two eggs will be okay. I would love to see chicks hatch this year for this wonderful pair.

Yesterday, a second egg disappeared, leaving only one egg in the nest.

This morning, the egg was being incubated, but in the afternoon it was left uncovered for a while. When it began to rain, the egg was being incubated once again, and this continued through the evening.

Alley and 19/K appear to have abandoned the last egg. I have not seen any incubation taking place today so far.  :(
