Wood County Courthouse
Bowling Green, OhioBowling Green’s pair of Peregrine Falcons nest on the clock tower of the Wood County Courthouse. After discovering the falcons hanging around the north side of the clock tower, the Wood County Commissioners contacted the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) who created a custom-built U-shaped nesting box on a ledge 195 feet above the ground. They have been nesting here since 2011.
The Falcon Cam is a partnership between the Wood County Commissioners and Bowling Green State University (BGSU). The Peregrine Falcon is BGSU's official mascot.
