Completed in 1971, the 34 story building is headquarters for Pacific Gas and Electric Company, the main utility provider for Northern California, and has been host to a nesting pair of Peregrine Falcons since 1987. Sixteen years later in 2003, Peregrine Falcons nested for the first time and have been a closely watched fixture of downtown San Francisco ever since.
