After chatting with the RRP folks, they are thinking that the female is Husker and the male is again Prescott based on behaviour and that the band colours match even though they couldn't get a read on their leg bands.

Haven't heard who the male was at this site, but the female was/is Husker, one of our grand or great-grandkids.  Found a photo taken of her (band visible) in the spring of this year.

Pop & Maud --> T-Rex & Burnsie --> Zeus & Winnie --> ?? (maybe Prescott) & Husker.

Camera at Red Wing seems cloudy and out of focus.  Does anyone know if they are having problems? ???

The pic of a hatch posted above on May 14 is not from this nest - it is from the Sherco nest.

The Red Wing cam definitely is cloudy and out of focus. I saved these pics a little earlier today; I believe there are two chicks:

I just checked out the web cam but can't see how many chicks have hatched.  Anyone know the count? ???

I don't know what the situation is with Husker, but here are a few photos I saved yesterday. In some pics, the falcons appeared to have no bands (but for the last two years, there has been an unbanded falcon there, I believe the male). In a couple of the pics, there might be bands, and the falcon has a dark hood much like Husker has.

No bands visible in the first pic:

Possible bands?

2010 NESTING SEASON

From Kittenface ...

I just saw they posted at RRP about Husker might be missing I know that she is part of the family tree here but I didn't have a clue where or even if I could put this somewhere.  if you think it might help if anyone watches this nest maybe you could put it where it would be read

Thanks for listening to me ramble ;D

Here is a link to the camera - http://rwgllc.qwestoffice.net/webcam.html
This is RRP - http://www.raptorresource.org/new.htm

There was a territorial battle between falcons at Red Wing, and we're not sure whether the falcon is still Husker. Her band was a faded red over black, so if we can get a glimpse of her band, it should be fairly apparent.

The nest box is usually empty now, but one of the juvies visited late last evening, and may have spent the night. Husker (I think it's her) visited this afternoon.

The cam has been down again, but this evening I caught one juvie in the nest box. A parent was also visible for about a millisecond outside on the perch.
