A Change of Address
Starting Saturday morning, I only caught glimpses of the peregrines on the ledge and though I hoped that meant they might be relocating to the nestbox, I decided that I would not disturb them for a few days just in case. After five days with my fingers crossed and no activity on the ledge, I carefully checked the nestbox and what should I find, but three beautiful eggs!

And Trey and Princess spitting nails at me from the antennae overhead. So a couple of quick photos and I beat a hasty retreat off the roof. Will have to come back again, probably on Friday, to see if a fourth egg has been laid. Don’t want to come back tomorrow as that would be disturbing them more than I have to. With three eggs in the nestbox, incubation is just starting, so tentatively, hatching should be around (probably after) the Victoria Day Weekend.
