What a Difference a Day Makes

From positively balmy yesterday to wet and soggy today. Poor Princess and Trey. It's enough to put one off having kids.



The white you see on her back isn't snow, I think its just where she is so wet that her white downy underfeathers are showing through. For those of you with cats, imagine your cat after a bath. Haven't seen Trey at all so far, hopefully he is tucked up dry and rested so that when he takes over, Princess can have a good long time to dry out and warm up. It does look as though he might have brought food to the nestledge for her - there is a bit of a "darker" blotch at the apex of the ledge that could be the remains of a meal.

The forecast is for light rainshowers continuing through until early tomorrow morning and then a chance of showers again tomorrow afternoon. High today 8C, high tomorrow 12C. Rest of the week mix of sun and cloud but temps in the high teens. Hopefully we will have less rain come hatching ...
