A PhotosbyDennis Exclusive

Our official photographer, Dennis Swayze, has put together his 2010 calendar and it looks great! In the past, Dennis has printed off a few for family and friends, but at the request of some of the peregrines' fans, he is offering them for sale. If you are interested in buying one (or a few) or would just like to see what they look like, go to the Project's Online Store .

While you are there, if you should think that the website seems a bit different, you would be right, I did a bit of a redesign. We will be adding a few more projects to the website over the next few months (piping plovers and chimney swifts to name just two) so sprucing up the whole site seemed appropriate. Hope you all enjoy our new look!

Happy New Year

Happy New Year Everyone!

For some strange reason, during December, Spring seems so far away. But when January 1st comes round, I know that in less than 90 days, our peregrines will be back and we will once again to trying to figure out who is who and who is going to nest where. If you don't have my optimism that winter will be over soon, today I checked out the migration watch records from some lookouts in Pennsylvania, and they have already seen some peregrines, so it really is just matter of weeks folks. So enjoy the countdown timer and the peace and quiet, the falcons are starting to move.
