Aw, I saw... I guess it was Pip...sitting there on the ledge like that on Friday - for the longest time.  8)

The cam was still up this morning, but now it's gone - so other than any live sightings, I guess that's it for this year already.  :-\

Glad it all went so well  :) - SO happy to hear Princess popped in for a visit as well.  :-*

We are definitely going to keep a close eye on the Radisson cams in case Princess should turn up when Ella or Pip aren't around or have migrated.  Who knows, maybe she will turn up yet again or perhaps she is off looking for more interesting places to hunt.

Here I am in Winnipeg with my hubby, he's having a procedure at HSC. So, from my hotel room looking relatively east from the 10th floor I can see the Radisson Hotel. This morning I could see a falcon (bright white front) perched on the nest box with my long lenses camera. Last evening I thought there was one perched but had it's back to me. I also saw a falcon chasing pigeons and it looked brown like a chick. :)

Bright white breast will be Pip - Ella has too many speckles too high to show as noticeably white at a distance!  And it was likely Pip on the box too, haven't seen Ella on the box for at least a month and he's been there much more regularly. And you are very likely right about the chick - hadn't seen the chicks on camera and then in the last few days I've seen one - can't say it's just one still around just that I have only seen one at a time! 

Best time to spot them and where:
  • West side  Radisson nestbox  & west side sign - morning while box is on the shade and evenings when the heat of the sun is "off" so after the dinner hour usually - almost always Pip these days
  • On the Alt Hotel sign (east side of building) - when the sign is in the shade - could be any of the birds, they all use it
  • East side Radisson nestbox & sign - (like everywhere else) when it is in the shade, so noon on - hunting usually - Pip has started tempting Ella to the ledge again to check out his post-nesting season scrapes - she mostly just takes his food ... maybe next month she check out his hard work! - if you have your camera - this ledge really is just like photographing at McKenzie Seeds!

Nor sure who was where at around 6pm but I'll check the recorder and see if I can figure out who was showing off for you.

As of 9:30pm though, it looks like Ella on the Alt Hotel sign and Pip is definitely on the nestbox.  They have obviously decided to be excellent hosts while RCF and Mr RCF are in their territory!!
